Creativity,
Try to be creative when it comes to working out.
You walk into the gym, start your daily routine, going through the motions, 10 reps, 3 sets of everything. Bored out of your mind, not sweating, checking your phone, walking out of the gym unsatisfied and unmotivated.
Try adding supersets, giantsets and dropsets to your routine,
Listen to music that hypes you up, if you don’t have a workout buddy…make your headphones your partner.
Find someone with a natural drive that loves training hard. You can make use of someone else’s energy. If you see your buddy doing an extra rep, it motivates you to do the same
If you’re having a bad day or you feel like you lack energy, get a good pre-workout supplement to help you through those moments (read my blog about pre-workout)
Get a membership at a gym where people train hard. There is nothing worse for your motivation than going to a gym where people come to socialize. Working out should be your first priority.
Don’t restrict yourself to lifting weights. Fitness includes any type of sport! It’s mainly about feeling fit and healthy. If you look good, but you feel like shit, you’re not fit.
Shopping for new fitness clothing can actually motivate you. You look good…you feel good and vise versa.
This is probably the most important step. Set your goals and make a time scedule. Tell other people about it, so there’s pressure, it’s less likely that you’ll quit.
